What extracurriculars would you recommend listing on your application?

Any clubs, or sports participated in or even travels would be cool thing to mention. You did the work and it makes you stand out so mention them.

When applying to colleges, did you consider applying to scholarships? When did you begin to look into them? How did you find scholarships to apply to?

I'm still looking at scholarships but apply early and frequently. There's scholarships for anything. I usually check the college website, or Google "scholarships for _______". I'd also recommend reusing college essays for scholarships to save work.

Is there anything that you mainly focused on during your application? Any suggestions for seniors who are applying?

I focused on my experiences and my own writing style. Yes, it is an essay, but, it is also the only time to express your voice. Make it heard. Focus on the things that make you unique, whether it be traveling, or community projects, or even how a teddy bear is your favorite toy because it doubles as a companion and a pillow. Point is, stand out and be yourself.

Would you recommend going to a community college and then transferring to a different college? Why or why not? Is it easy to transfer schools?

It isn't full proof but it helps save a ton of money. I did not do that, but it is a viable option to do.
